Registration Details

Registration is per team, and both players’ details must be submitted together in the same application

Eligibility

Open to all residents of the GCC countries with valid residency of no less than 5 consecutive years in any GCC country.  This includes GCC passport holders who had their passports for 5 years or more.

Exemptions requests may be submitted to the Player Eligibility Committee who will mainly review the requests for underage players who wish to compete in higher categories, subject to guardian consent and assessment of ability and readiness.  Decisions are final and binding.

Eligible Categories

Mens Open: Minimum age is 17 (Born 2008 or earlier)

Womens Open: Minimum age is 13 (Born 2012 or earlier)

U16 Boys: Male players up to 16 (born 2009 or later)

Fees & Refunds

Fees for Mens and Womens Open are KWD 40 per team.

Fees for U16 Boys is KD20 per team.

Refunds will be paid to those teams who did not make the draw after the tournament ends

Participation & Commitment

- Players may only participate in one category per tournament.

- Teams are required to wear matching t-shirts and shorts during matches.

- Matches will be officiated by certified referees, and their decisions are final and binding.

- All matches are played best of 3 sets with the Golden Point rule applied.

- It is strictly prohibited for players, teams, or spectators to display or wear any political, tribal, religious, or divisive flags, logos, or symbols during the tournament.

- Players must attend matches on time; no-shows or delays may result in forfeiture.

Seeding

- Seeding will be determined according to the following priority:

- 1. Official FIP points.

- 2. Official FIP-recognized international participations.

- 3. Points accumulated in The Padel League.

- As the League progresses and players accumulate sufficient points, seeding will gradually shift to be based primarily on The Padel League rankings.

Media Rights

- By registering, players consent to the use of their names, photos, and videos for media coverage and promotional purposes.

Liability

- Organizers are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during the tournament.

- Players/teams are fully responsible for ensuring their medical and physical fitness to participate.

General Provisions

- Technical Committee reserve the right to amend schedules, postpone, suspend, or cancel tournaments or the League entirely, for the overall betterment of the tournament, or due to force majeure or situations beyond reasonable control.

- In such cases, refunds or compensations, if any, will be determined solely at the discretion of the organizers.
